Gloucester Academy of Music (GAM to its friends!) offers an exceptional level of professional tuition in an informal and friendly atmosphere.  We are very successful in creating musical opportunities for all ages and abilities, encouraging the very young to love music and develop their potential and creating an atmosphere where adults feel they can continue, rediscover or even find a new love of playing.  Please look at the information about our programmes on this website: we have found that there is usually something for everyone.

Beauchamp House International Music and Drama Courses

Beauchamp House Courses These ever popular holiday courses have now been running for over 20 years, providing a combination of the highest standard of tuition with the opportunity for great fun; an experience not to be missed!

We have established a unique reputation for our range of residential and non-residential courses and are confident that our high standards will continue in 2009.   A testimony to the success of these courses is that many students return year after year.

For our younger and adult students we run a popular non-residential Easter programme.

Benslow Music Trust

Benslow Music Trust is the UK's premier centre for adult residential music courses.   Midweek and weekend courses all year round, plus summer schools and day events for all ages and standards.   Everything from Baroque to Jazz!

Benslow Instrument Loan Scheme lends high quality instruments (mostly strings with some woodwind) to promising young players who are unable to afford their own.   Based on talent and need, ages from 7 to 25.   See website for further details.
